Rescue Spotlights
I have a passion for animals, thus the reason I became an LVT.
I work with a lot of rescues and I admire the work they do I wanted to give back to them.
Here I will post a little about a rescue I love and post pictures of current pets available.
All rescues are located around Rochester, NY
Right Meow is a foster-based rescue dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in the Rochester, NY area. We are a team of experienced volunteers focused on decreasing the local homeless cat population and providing a safe place for local surrenders. We also pledge to help local shelters combat overcrowding when we are able to help.
MEET PETUNIA
Several months ago, Petunia was found in the middle of Mt Read Blvd with cars rolling over her. Right Meow took her in.
They took her to the vet to evaluate the lower back pain she was exhibiting. The vets found no sign of injury. They ran bloodwork and unfortunately, her liver values were not that great.
Unfortunately, she has been losing weight.
This potentially be cancer or IBS. She is being closely monitored by her foster and is on a prescription diet, antibiotics, and steroids and hopefully, she will improve.
These are expensive and needs all the help they can get.
